- NYPD Commissioner and Loews heir Jessica Tisch has sold her 4,000-square-foot duplex on East 79th Street for $10.5 million, below the $13 million asking price. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom co-op was first listed in March 2024

- The historic Washington Square Hotel once host to Ernest Hemingway, Bob Dylan, and Dee Dee Ramone has been sold to the Library Hotel Collection for $23 million. The deal, financed with an $18 million loan, includes the property’s restaurant condo.
- Amazon expanded its lease at 1440 Broadway by 259,000 square feet, now occupying about 560,000 and serving as the building’s anchor tenant. The deal highlights Amazon’s continued growth across New York City.

- There were 159 contracts signed for resale apartments (a 6% decrease from last week) and 34 contracts signed for new developments (a 0% change from last week). Apartments priced between $3 million and $5 million posted a huge gain in activity compared to the week before. Downtown between 14th and 34th Street saw a 16% weekly increase in contracts, the most of any market area. (click here to read the report)
