September feels like a fresh start in New York. After a quiet summer, the city is buzzing with kids back in school, art and performance openings, crisp fall air, and a busy real estate market. Let's leap into fall!

Experience tells us that pricing is key: in today’s market, buyers are active but weighing their options carefully. Strategically priced homes will have multiple offers, which can lead to above-ask sales.

We hope the autumn winds sweep away the economic heaviness of recent months and open the door for buyers and sellers to find opportunities that feel rewarding.

Things I’m excited about:
  • The Fed’s first cut of 2025 drops the interest rate to its lowest level in nearly three years.
  • My own neighborhood in Brooklyn, Prospect Heights, and neighboring Clinton Hill, were named two of the hottest neighborhoods in the country by Redfin for 2025.
  • Record Sale at 207 Washington Ave in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. After just two open house weekends, buyers flocked to this listing, and we went into contract at 10% above the asking price.
One of the greatest joys of my work is the connections I make with clients, so never hesitate to reach out. No question is too small when it comes to housing trends or the process of buying, selling, or renting.

Wishing you a fantastic fall full of fresh energy and inspiration!

Cheers,
Kristi

Real estate isn’t the only thing in motion this fall.
It’s peak migration season, too.
If you love birds and want to care for the wild side of Brooklyn, support the Wild Bird Fund (WBF) as they create a home for injured and rehabilitating birds in Brooklyn (located at 183 7th Avenue, just a few doors from
my office in Park Slope).

Archtober Festival
NYC is buzzing in October with architecture. I might be biased - married to architect Illya Azaroff, and the current President-Elect of the National AIA 🙌 - but this is hands-down one of our favorite festivals of the year. Come wander, explore, and see New York in a whole new way.
