Friends, colleagues, neighbors, |
May sweeps in with the energy of transition and celebration, from the cheers at graduation ceremonies to the heartfelt moments of Mother's Day and the remembrance during Memorial weekend. It's a month bustling with the vibrancy of event planning, the excitement of travel, and the joy of celebrations.
In our gorgeous Brooklyn neighborhoods, the burst of colors from budding plantings is a visual feast—a reminder of nature's annual renewal. I love color and I am passionate about infusing living spaces with the freshness of the season. Flowers and verdant plants are not just décor; they bring a home to life, which is why they are integral to my staging strategies—both for my valued clients and my own home.
There are other simple ways to improve the aesthetics of your home that do not involve construction and living with major repairs. Remember, a touch as simple as crystal-clear windows and a thorough deep clean can transform your space. And as we ponder new beginnings, it's natural to wonder about the value nestled within our own four walls. Just as a yearly health check ensures personal well-being, updating oneself on the equity of one's home is a prudent practice—and quite possibly a cause for celebration. If it's been a while since your last home valuation, why not schedule it now? It's the perfect time to assess your investment and plan for the future.
So, here's to enjoying all that May has to offer, and cherishing each precious moment.
May your month be filled with growth, gratitude, and gatherings that turn into cherished memories.
Wishing everyone health and wellness, until we meet again.

| The groundbreaking exhibition The Harlem Renaissance and Transatlantic Modernism explores the comprehensive and far-reaching ways in which Black artists portrayed everyday modern life. Through some 160 works of painting, sculpture, photography, film, and ephemera, explore the new Black cities that took shape in the 1920s–40s in New York City’s Harlem and nationwide in the early decades of the Great Migration, when millions of African Americans began to move away from the segregated rural South. The first art museum survey of the subject in New York City since 1987, the exhibition establishes the Harlem Renaissance and its radically new development of the modern Black subject as central to the development of international modern art. | We are entering the peak rental market season and guess what, rents are breaking records again. Why? Because of the number of people still looking for places to buy and coming up short. Nobody sets out to rent forever, but sometimes inertia sets in as we just cannot bring ourselves to buy something maybe smaller or lacking the washer/dryer that our rental has. But the goal has to be to plan to buy and these charts above demonstrate why. |
|
| Have a listen to my video on the rental statistics that make it very clear why you have to plan far in advance to buy and stick to that plan.
Oh, and if you are looking for a townhouse rental in Cobble Hill or Brooklyn Heights, I have two coming soon. Reach out to be one of the first to see them.
